X and YouTube. Job Description We are seeking a Associate Scientist
to perform mRNA production and mRNA process development. The
candidate will do in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA production, mRNA
purification, and perform analytical characterization under
appropriate supervision. Responsibilities & Duties: Perform
production and purification of in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA
Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation, especially
chromatographic purification and TFF filtration Quality control
analysis of mRNA products including gel electrophoresis, Dot blot,
UV, etc. Develop new techniques for mRNA process development at
small and large-scale production of mRNA Demonstrate skill in
multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as
required, to suit the changing needs of research or development
sciences. Maintain appropriate lab notebooks and electronic records
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of
conduct, safety, and appropriate handling of materials and drug
substances Qualifications Bachelors Degree, or equivalent
education, with typically 3 or more years experience or Masters
Degree or equivalent education (no additional experience). Basic
understanding and hands-on experience with AKTA systems and Unicorn
software and TFF techniques are preferred Detail oriented with
strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work
independently, within prescribed guidelines, and as a team member.
Ability to draft routine reports and keep accurate records of work
performed. Able to learn complex tasks with general instructions.
Able to use experience to perform a variety of new techniques.
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions in a research
laboratory environment. Additional Information Applicable only to
