Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Grants and Contracts Analyst to
support pre- and post-award activities for the Bloomberg
Distinguished Professorships team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide instruction and support related to grant application
procedures and manage grant submissions
Oversee post-award processes, including award setup, account
reconciliation, and compliance with guidelines
Serve as a liaison between research units, central offices, and
funding agencies while ensuring excellent customer service to
faculty
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Four years of related experience in sponsored research and/or
financial positions, preferably in an academic or medical
setting
Successful completion of the Research Administration Training
Program is equivalent to two years of relevant experience
Knowledge of accounting and budgeting theory and practices
Thorough knowledge of external Federal guidelines/procedures for
grants and contracts
