PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PER DIEM
ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Inpatient & Outpatient Pharmacy
As a per diem, nonexempt Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS)
Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities
under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your
responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking
medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and
auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties
according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy
standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This Pharmacy Technician position will work on an as
needed basis up to 19 hours per week comprised of day, evening and
night shifts, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays. The pay
rate is $15.00/hr. with a shift differential for some shifts. There
are no regularly scheduled hours for this position.
About the Facility: Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a
state-of-the-art 456-bed facility offering a 24-hour Emergency
Department, Level 1 Primary Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center,
three Family Health Centers and the only Burn Center serving San
Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. Comprehensive
Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage
the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an
employee of CPS.
About the Pharmacies: Arrowhead provides both Outpatient and
Inpatient Pharmacy Services. The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24/7,
365 days a year while the Outpatient Pharmacy is open Monday -
Saturday from 8:00am-7:00pm. The pharmacies utilize Pyxis,
Meditech, and FSI.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License in good
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in either an inpatient or
outpatient pharmacy. Training will be provided if current
experience is in an outpatient pharmacy
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written

successfully passing a background check, drug test and signed
onboarding documents. Additionally, you may be required to provide
medical records or have additional medical examinations/background
checks that are a specific requirement of the location or position

status changes for internal CPS team members. Comprehensive
