Description Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, evening shifts. Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor, the clinical Laboratory Scientist uses professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, analytical, clerical and quality assurance functions within laboratory department section(s) as assigned. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree. - Coursework/Training - Completion of 1 year approved internship program in Medical Technology. - California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: - 3 years - Experience in multiple laboratory science disciplines as licensed CLS/MT in acute care facility. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
