Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience in acute care
hospital settings - Ability to work effectively in a
multidisciplinary team - Experience with various patient
populations including adults and geriatrics Description: Start date
is as soon as possible. First-time travelers are not accepted. The
facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period. The total
number of staffed beds is 249. Daily census averages 80 patients.
Physical therapists will collaborate with multiple
interdisciplinary teams. Expected patient diagnoses include
orthopedic post-operative cases and neurological conditions. Travel
experience is required. Certifications in Basic Life Support and a
valid California PT license are necessary. Patient care includes
mobility assessments and rehabilitation planning. Travelers are
expected to float between facilities within the state. Failure to
comply may result in termination of the assignment. References are
required covering one year within the last three years. All
providers must comply with the facility's policies and procedures.
The facility does not reimburse for items like the LA fire card,
which is required within the last 30 days. Requirements Required
