Valley Radiology Consultants has been serving North San Diego County since 1971. VRC is a leader in diagnostic imaging, committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services at our outpatient centers in Poway and Escondido. Our group of physicians is accompanied by a dedicated team of Technologists, Administrative staff and Management. To support our growing demand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with a valid venipuncture license to join our CT/MRI Float Technologist Program. In this position you will play a pivotal role by preparing patients for CT and MRI scans and initiating IV lines, allowing our Technologists to focus on image acquisition and procedure accuracy. Key Responsibilities: --- Start IV lines for contrast-enhanced CT and MRI exams --- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety --- Assist in patient flow to reduce delays and increase throughput --- Float between Escondido and Poway facilities based on operational needs --- Collaborate closely with CT and MRI Technologists and front-desk staff Qualifications and Licensure Requirements: --- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) --- Valid and current Venipuncture Certification/License --- BLS Certification --- Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in an Imaging center or outpatient clinic is preferred --- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills --- Must have great patient caring skills, always showing empathy and respect for our patients --- Team player with ability to take direction from Technologists and staff --- Ability to travel between VRC's Escondido and Poway locations as scheduled --- Spanish language skills preferred Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $22 - $26 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
