Solutions (APS) Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center,
where we design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor
systems for the warfighter. We are seeking Radar Systems Engineers
who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex
technical problems, and are eager to support innovative sensor and
radar programs. You will work alongside experienced engineers to
define system architecture, develop requirements, perform analysis
and modeling, and support integration, testing, and flight
activities across the full product lifecycle. What You Will Do:
Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of
system requirements using DOORS Generate system CONOPS and system
architectures. Assist with radar mode requirement development and
system performance assessments. Conduct modeling, simulation, and
data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++.
Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and
hands-on laboratory testing. Support verification, validation,
flight test, production, and post-deployment activities. Perform
trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE-based system
design. Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and
briefings to internal and external stakeholders. Required
Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related
STEM field. This position requires 12 months or less of
professional experience (excluding internships) Ability to obtain
and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship
required). Proficiency in MATLAB Work experience in Systems
Engineering or knowledge of radar fundamentals. Experience with
algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware
integration, data analysis using Matlab, and configuration
management. Preferred Qualifications: Secret Security Clearance.
3.5 GPA or higher. Prior internship experience Programming
experience in Java, C++, Python. Experience with: Hands-on testing
of electronic equipment in labs Troubleshooting electronic or
system-level issues Signal processing, control theory, statistics,
information theory, and detection methods Imaging/pattern
recognition Data filtering (Kalman, batch, optimal estimation)
Advanced statistics DOORS or CAMEO Strong written, verbal, and
interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multitask, solve
problems independently, and work effectively in a fast-paced
environment. Leadership involvement in work or student

role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
