Job Description Job Description Martial Arts / Karate Instructor San Marcos studio seeking an additional Instructor for both part-time and full-time positions. The successful candidate will work under the Head Instructor/Studio manager. Duties : include teaching and/or assisting classes, teaching private lessons, and various customer service and administrative tasks. Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 8:00pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm. Hours can be negotiated for the part-time candidate. Requirements : Ideally, the candidate will hold a Black belt in the martial art of Tang Soo Do or a similar style, such as Shotokan, etc. Prior teaching experience is preferred although we would consider training the right candidate, especially for the part-time position. Growth/salary: We are seeking a candidate that will become our next head instructor and be part of starting our third location. Our head Instructors eventually become part owners and earn salaries that are the highest in the industry. Starting salaries and/or hourly rates will depend on qualifications and prior experience.
