Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Strategic Financial
Modeler.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain three-statement financial models for strategic
planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Analyze and explain performance drivers for insurance carriers,
including variance analysis on key financial elements
Create presentation materials for senior leadership and the Board,
and support financial modeling for fundraising and strategic
decisions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or
related field
8+ years of relevant experience in insurance Finance or
Accounting
5+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
(FP&A)
2+ years of experience building financial models specific to
insurance companies
Strong knowledge of insurance accounting, both GAAP and
Statutory
