Job Description:

XYZ is looking for a highly motivated professional to serve as a Staff Accountant to perform cash management, vendor credit, process payroll, monitor invoicing and collections, assist with month-end closes, and other departmental duties as assigned. As the Staff Accountant, you will transact day-to-day accounting duties including but not limited to; assistance in preparation of various monthly reports, financial report consolidations, bank reconciliations, audits, internal document policies and procedures, and other projects as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Major duty satisfactorily. • Assist in financial statement preparation
• Assist in tax preparation
• Perform check runs
• Perform bank reconciliations and trace discrepancies
• Review 1099"s and W-2"s
• Prepare journal entriesMinimum Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Recent experience working with QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Analytical and accounting skills
  • Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environmentMinimum Education:
